Last summer, Michał Kolwas wrote a review of the ALATO Arvet prototype. Now he has updated his blog with a new review of the production watch. He discusses the adjustments that have been made and what he thinks about them.
For those of you who haven't yet read Michał's first review, here's a brief summary of who Michał is. Michał is a watch enthusiast from Poland. His favorite brands are Omega, Eterna and Tissot. He loves sailing and drinking good whiskey but not at the same time of course... Michał is an incredibly knowledgeable watch enthusiast and possesses an extraordinarily large knowledge and reference bank within watches. He also has a very keen eye for good design.
Michał got his watch around the new year and has now had it for about 3 months. Finally we get his opinion. Here is an excerpt from the review:
"I've been wearing the production Arvet for almost 3 months now, so, what do I think about it? Simply put, it's everything that made the prototype great – and then some.
From the start, I loved the very original inspiration and its implementation in the design, coupled with cues from vintage watches, namely the Seiko/Grand Seiko-inspired case that's been seasoned with some Pierre-original touches to it, like the crown and the 3-facet bezel with contrasting finishing on it."
