TERMS OF PURCHASE
We reserve the right to in the event of obvious errors, e.g. price or printing error to correct the error afterwards. If you are not satisfied with our correction, you can of course cancel your order free of charge. We also reserve the right not to carry out an order if, for example, the product is out of stock or in case of technical problems. If you want to correct your order after order, we can only do this before your order has left our warehouse. All goods remain the property of ALATO Watches until full payment has been received by the company. ALATO Watches reserves the right to cancel a purchase if fraud is suspected. Product(s) that are included free of charge in connection with the purchase of other goods must also be sent back in connection with a return. The product included in the purchase will otherwise be charged for its full value. Example: you buy a watch for SEK 1,999 where the purchase includes a free watch box, value SEK 399. You return the watch but not the watch box, so we will refund you SEK 1,600.
2. Delivery
All orders are delivered free of charge. For specific areas, additional delivery options with shipping charges may be shown as available. The latter delivery option requires an active choice at checkout. Sometimes it happens that one of the goods you ordered is not in stock and is listed as remaining, i.e. we reserve ourselves for final sales. If your order cannot be shipped on time, you have the right to cancel your purchase. If your package and/or contents are damaged in transit when you receive them, report it to our customer service without delay. If packages are lost during transport, you must notify our customer service within a reasonable time (2 months). ALATO Watches sends an order confirmation to the email address you provided before we send the goods to you.
Mode of delivery:
For Swedish customers:
PostNord Varubrev 1:a klass. Trackable. 1-2 days delivery time.
PostNord delivers to your home postbox. If the parcel can't fit the box it will be left close to the door or in a bag on the postbox. In PostNord App you can track the delivery. When the parcel has been delivered it will be photographed, and the picture is visible in the App for us both.
If delivery is not possible the parcel will be left at your closest pick-up point. You will then be notified by SMS or Letter.
For International customers:
Strap orders will be shipped using PostNord Trackable Letter. 7-10 days delivery time.
Deliveries of the watch ARVET is shipped using regular airfreight. Delivery time is estimated to 7-12 days. If applicable, the delivery is DDP (delivery duty paid) meaning VAT is included in the price shown at check-out. If you live in a country outside of EU, there will be no VAT added on your order.
Prices are adaptive based on your location.
If delivery is not possible the parcel will be left at your closest pick-up point. You will then be notified by SMS or Letter.
3. Payment
Card payment :
You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or American Express. Choose card payment and follow the instructions. The goods are sent immediately after payment and no extra fee is charged. Card payments can also be made through Klarna. Only cards activated with 3D Secure work.
Cash on delivery :
We do not offer cash on delivery.
Invoice : (Klarna, Pay later)
We offer payment by invoice via our partner Klarna. When paying the invoice, the goods are sent to the registered address. If you do not want the goods delivered to your registered address, please use another payment option. No invoicing fee is added (SEK 0). Payment terms 14 days. In the event of late payment, a reminder fee, late payment interest and current reference interest will be charged. Complete conditions for invoice purchases through Klarna can be found on their website www.klarna.com.
Partial payment : (Clear, Divide)
We offer partial payment in collaboration with Klarna. You can pay the entire remaining debt at any time during the installment period. The partial payment options we offer are shown at checkout. For current conditions see Klarna's website www.klarna.com.
PayPal :
You can pay with PayPal, select the option at checkout and then follow the instructions. You need an account with PayPal to be able to complete the payment. If you do not have this, you can easily register one at the time of purchase. The goods are sent immediately after payment and no extra fee is charged.
4. Right of returns
You have the right of cancellation (return) within 14 days of receiving the item. When returning goods that have been handled to a greater extent than was necessary to determine the goods' properties and function, the consumer compensates us for the possible reduction in value that has occurred. The extent of the reduction in value is determined unilaterally by ALATO Watches. The right of withdrawal can be used provided that the product is returned together with the labels and original packaging/box that comes with the product. As a customer, you have the right to examine the product. For cases where the associated case, packaging, information folder and certificate of authenticity are not included when exercising the right of withdrawal, ALATO Watches has the right to refuse the return.
KICKSTARTER PLEDGES
All pre-orders made outside of www.alato.se (ie. Kickstarter) will NOT be eligible for refund or exchange unless there is a manufacturer's defect. Profit margins set via any of our crowdfunding campaigns are razor thin as well as being a 'custom order' placed with our manufacturer on your behalf, therefore we will be unable to process returns and refunds simply because you changed your mind. We are a small company that stands behind our products, but we reserve the right to refuse any return not due to defect.
Return :
You can return your goods to ALATO Watches within 14 days and get your money back if you regret it. You as the customer are responsible for the return cost. The cancellation period begins on the day you received your order. Contact our customer service if you have regretted further handling. All returned goods must be carefully packaged to avoid damage to the goods. You as the customer are responsible for the transport risk back to ALATO Watches.
Complaint :
If you complain about your product due to damage or faulty production, we will make a manual assessment and possibly request the product if necessary. Normal right of complaint is usually three (3) years, a detected fault on a product must be reported to us within a reasonable time, that is, as soon as it was discovered or should have been discovered. This is considered to be within two (2) months of receipt of the item. Defects that are discovered within six months after the goods have been delivered are assumed to have been present at the time of delivery unless otherwise indicated. If the fault only becomes apparent later, you as a consumer must be able to prove that the fault already existed upon delivery, that is to say that it was an original fault with the product. The first commitment in the event of a complaint is to rectify the fault. If this does not work and the complaint is approved, we will replace you with a new product. If we are unable to replace you with a similar item, you have the right to cancel the purchase and have the money refunded. Reimbursement normally takes place within 14 working days from the time we receive and approve your return. We can only make a refund in the same way and to the same account that was used at the time of purchase. 5. Assortment
ALATO Watches reserves itself for changes in the assortment and has the right to remove goods from the assortment before a purchase has gone through. We reserve the right to sell out any products in the range. ALATO Watches reserves itself for possible typographical errors in texts on this website. We also do not guarantee that all images accurately reflect the actual appearance of the products. ALATO Watches reserves the right to adjust prices and any price errors.
6. Force majeure
ALATO Watches is exempt from penalty for failure to fulfill certain obligations under this agreement, if the failure is based on an exculpatory circumstance as described below and the circumstance prevents, hinders or delays fulfillment. As an exculpatory circumstance shall be considered i.a. action or omission by an authority, new or amended legislation, conflict in the labor market, blockade, fire, flood, sabotage, major accident or other type of natural disaster. Force majeure includes authority decisions that affect the market and products negatively, e.g. restrictions in indication, warning texts, sales bans, etc., abnormal decline in the market and if the company is exposed to criminal activity that affects the business.
7. Dispute
Complaints or comments regarding ALATO Watches 's services or products should be communicated to ALATO Watches 's customer service via e-mail kundservice@alato.se. If you are not satisfied with our handling of your case, you are welcome to contact your local consumer advisor or the General Complaints Board (ARN), www.arn.se or Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm. We always follow ARN's recommendations. We do not undertake to participate in alternative dispute resolution procedures, but will take a final position on this matter in the event of a dispute arising.
